Do you want to locate an old friend or maybe a long lost friend? Do you want to search those prank callers who make fun of you? Locating people nowadays is not hard. You can have it at home; there are many ways you can do it at home or at your office.

There are many ways on locating people for free. We have the internet where we can search anything and everything under the sun. Internet offers free searching through its search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing and many others. This search engines give you results where you can choose and select the best information you can gather. But be careful because sometimes there are spam sites that will just fool you and will just give you false details.

Another is to locate people through social networking sites. This can also be found in the internet and totally free. The most known social networking sites today are Facebook, Plurk, Twitter, MySpace and Friendster. This is widely used all over the world and it is very possible that the person you are looking for have an account on one of this sites.

Another way is contacting your mutual friends and ask them about the person you are looking for. It is termed as public search; where you looked for yourself and asked people around you about a person. This is very free all you risk is your hard work.

Looking through phone books is another way where you can search a person for free. Phone books that are owned by the telecommunication companies are for free. It is where you can find additional information about the person such as recent address, complete name and of course his phone number. You are so lucky if you can find that person on one of the yellow pages.

Having a good search entails with great hard-work. You need to dedicate your self on looking that person, just make sure you have a background of that person so that you can find him easily and for free.
