Jupiter Jack As a Hands-Free Device

There can be strict laws in many places that make it illegal to use your phone while driving unless you are also using a Bluetooth device or similar hands-free device. If you are unable to afford those expensive devices, a wonderful alternative is Jupiter Jack, but is it really a good deal?

What Is It?

Jupiter Jack is a compact device that plugs into the headset jack on any cell phone. It then turns your car stereo into your phone so you never have to hold your phone while you're using it, taking precious attention away from the road.

My Experience

I gave my dad a Jupiter Jack a few weeks back. He's about 60, and I want him to be able to use his cell phone in the car safely. I knew what he really needed is a basic speakerphone that will let him talk hands-free while he drives. What my dad and I like about this product is that it is easy to set up, it is ergonomically nice to look at, and best of all, you can hear incoming and outgoing calls very clearly! So far, rain, wind, and other weather conditions have not posed a problem. You don't have to scream to be heard, and there's no need for the person on the other end to scream back.
